It's always been one of my favorite stories. I just wish I knew what the truth was.<br /><br />As for the document itself, it's obvious that the CIA is much better than TSA at redacting. Still, why are the cost figures at various stages still classified? What's the national security issue? I can imagine that the amount of money spent could be embarasssing to some people, and revealing the amount might bring on added questions as to what the intell take actually was, but neither's a proper justification for classification.<br />Also interesting is the redaction, on page 37 of the name of a Typhoon that might have adversely affected the project--Typhoon Gilda was the only typhoon in existence at that point--while Gilda is mentioned on the nexdt page.<br /><br />Regards,<br />John BJ Bennetthttp://www.mpsint.comnoreply@blogger.com
